The Ambleside Meadows Home Owners Association owns and maintains two private water quality facilities along 33rd street that are subject to the City of Springfield’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit. Both of the large settling ponds are private property owned by the Ambleside HOA. Members of the public and also our homeowners are not allowed to access them for safety reasons. In late 2018 the HOA began cleaning out the settling ponds.
